About the "Caveng Optik" project

Our lighting should complement the naturally stylish interior
of the store and at the same time create ideal lighting conditions for buying glasses. The requirements:
No reflections and no color distortions on the products. The lighting must therefore be as indirect as possible to avoid reflections in the lenses that could distract the customer when looking at them.

Indirect lighting

To set the scene for the glasses themselves and create a focus on the frames, we have used the light sources, our flexible LED circuit boards from the
BRILLIANT
series, are hidden so that they are not visible at first glance. This was possible thanks to the LED profile
WING
LED profile, which was inserted into a milled groove on the underside of the wooden shelves.

The opal cover ensures a homogeneous light pattern. Luminous flux and color temperature (3000 K, CRI > 90) have been perfectly matched to the application so that the products on display can be optimally perceived. The entire system is DALI controllable. The lighting is controlled in certain intensities depending on the incidence of daylight and the time of day, so that the customer always appears in the best light when selecting products.
