About the "adami Bestattungen" project

The adami funeral home in Sundern relies on the emotional effect of light in such situations. In addition to its visual and biological functions, light has a significant influence on our feelings. It creates moods, can have a clarifying and calming effect in difficult moments and makes images shine. In addition to this atmospheric requirement, the visiting time was also important for our lighting project: funeral homes can be reached every day of the week and at any time of day or night – and must therefore always be appropriately lit.

Clear, bright and friendly lighting in the House of Farewell sets the scene for the timelessly designed farewell rooms Birch Forest, Evening Sun and Sea View, among others. The DALI-capable luminaires were integrated into the existing building system technology during the conversion. With our Tunable White LED panels with pre-programmed DALI-DT8 power supply units, a light color between 3000 and 6000 K can be set. The LED downlights bring atmosphere into the
Corridors and adjoining rooms. This is how adami’s House of Farewell shows,
how light can create an ambience of clear objectivity as well as a feeling of protection and warmth.
