About the "Salon Magic Hair" project

The requirements are therefore complex. In the Magic Hair salon in Werdohl, illuminance levels for the hairdressing and cosmetics areas (500 and 750 lux) were to be implemented in accordance with DIN specifications, with homogeneous illumination at the same time. Color reproduction that is as true to nature as possible and a clear delineation of transitions in the cut and in the coloring of the hair must be ensured. With a glare-reduced LED panel, UGR < 19, DREES has created pleasant ambient lighting in the salon. Care was taken with the arrangement and number to avoid shadows in the work area.

The 3-phase track system in the shop window and the STORE-LIGHT-ONE downlights in the sales area guide the eye in a targeted manner, while flexible LED circuit boards set accents. As a special feature, the indirect lighting of the mirror backs together with the reception underlighting and the lighting of the steps to the wash area in the “After Work
mode” can be used. With a color temperature of 4000 K, the overall lighting provides a pleasant atmosphere for customers and employees alike.
